    1. Thank you! I thought it was important to point that out because it is too easy just to change the colour in Lightroom or Photoshop etc. I always want my photo to be of what the view actually was. πŸ˜€

      1. Yes, its so easy to change colours in pictures but I think that, here, anything other than natural would be a waste of time. But to me toning black and white can have its place, as can over or underexposing colour – but that’s just my personal view.

      2. I agree with that, I usually make a few minor adjustments but I never want to completely change the scene – I remember seeing a tutorial which showed you how to make a day shot appear as if taken at night, it even showed you how to add the moon to replace the sun – I just thought it would have been easier just to go back at night and take another shot πŸ˜‚

      3. Yes, I absolutely agree. And although I do exclude things from my photos by cropping and (small nuisances) deleting, I’ve never got into adding things to images – I suppose that seems like a Pandora’s Box, and I’m all for the simple life!!! πŸ™‚

      4. I do have one picture of me and my wife at the top of Ben Nevis – someone took it for us but I didn’t realise that someone else was in the background – other than that it was a perfect shot so I spent a long time editing them out and I hope you can’t tell if you were to see the photo! So I do all of those things if needed but I think you need to limit what you change so it doesn’t become something else entirely! πŸ˜‚
